Pet Portraits

A friend asked me what was I going to do with my spare time since I was newly retired. I honestly had no idea how to answer that.  It seems one minute you are busy chasing a career and the next retirement has arrived. 

 

She was going to a painting class and asked if I would like to come along.  "Painting?" It didn't really interest me but I went anyway.  Little did I know I would discover I love painting!  Oil or watercolor it didn't matter I was hooked.

Initially friends asked me to paint portraits of their pets but I soon began having requests from other people too.

Currently I paint pets by commission from your favorite photo and complete it in 1 to 2 weeks.  Cost depending on the size & media of the piece. $125-200
